PRETTY & PLUM NAIL POLISH

I saw this Estée Lauder nail color in an ad the other day and thought it looked like it was worth a try. This is the first Estée Lauder nail polish I’ve used, and so far I am LOVING the color and the product. It has a kind of vampy but pretty feel to it. I like that it’s a very deep but vibrant purple, which is a welcome change from all the pinks I’ve been wearing this summer! 

It’s called Pure Color Nail Lacquer in Bête Noire. My go-to nail polishes are usually OPI or Deborah Lippmann, but I’m glad I tried something new. What are some of your favorite nail polishes?

FAVORITE LOCAL DESIGNER

I am a big fan of our local Sausalito based designers, Serena & Lily.  It’s super easy to get caught up in spending hours looking through all of their beautiful designs, and really hard to decide on just one favorite for my purchase.  I absolutely love all of their gorgeous & luxurious bed linens and of course it’s always so much fun to see all those adorable baby nurseries.

These two beautiful women started their business back in 2003 with a chic crib sheet line and developed a very loyal following.  Over the years they have grown to become an impressive & well-known boutique home line featuring furniture, linens, rugs, lighting and accessories.
